Since the organizer didn't want a typical bikini shot, I decided to feature 3 different themes to give the 13 contestants a twist! Here Goes :

This collaborative shoot is the brainchild of Sumardi Shukor, an photographer based in Kuala Lumpur.

Also featured is Miss Malaysia Earth 2009, Mandy Nandu. The theme is based on recreating art using recycled materials.

So I came up with this simple and exciting dress is designed by yours truly  - Jeffie Jeff , assembled with the help of Sumardi & MaharDani. Off course we had some inspiration but we improvised!

The makeup on the other hand was my responsibility so I decided to bring it to another level by creating these on-of-a-kind lashes using recyled newspaper. I googled online and checked everywhere, so I'm proud to tell you that this is my 100% original creation. *smile* What do you think? :

My next model is Domithila, an aspiring local model who is currently pursuing her studies at SATT College in Kuching, Sarawak.

With Nicole Scherzinger being her favorite role model, it was an easy task for this shoot's inspiration : Pop Music Culture.

This time around, focus was mainly more on movement and expression, after all I am still in a learning phase. Enjoy!

This is a second look I did for Katy on the same day. Since 'Tribal Flavour' was more high key, I decided to switch to the dark side for another feel.

After my broken camera incident, I finally gathered up to own a SLR. So one fine day I decided to put my Nikon D3000 to good use.

My model was Katy Kana, who I had previously worked with on my 'Summer Glam' shoot a while back.

Anyway my inspiration was from Beyonce's B&W images from her I am Sasha Fierce album & decided to give it a go - Here are the results :
